Nordic Aquafarms: Belfast, Maine

Norway-based Nordic Aquafarms turned to Ransom as a partner in building a 54-acre multi-stage land based aquaculture facility in Belfast Maine. The Nordic Aquafarms project will produce 33,000-metric ton of salmon, making it one of the largest land-based salmon farms in the world.

Ransom’s team is committed to Nordic Aquafarms exceptional environmental standards in this landmark aquafarming facility. Our team collaborated on the project from conceptual design through permitting, to meet and exceed local, state and regulatory requirements.
